Linear Equations (Forms)

We learned 1 form today for linear equations in math. I think I mostly understand how to do it. However, since I wasn't at the last math class it was kind of hard for me to know what was all being talked about. Hopefully I'll catch on.

Slopes

In math today we learned about ways to solve for a slope. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I understand what we learned. We have to do exercise 7 on slopes. However, there are still a few questions on exercise 10 that I don't know how to do, so I'll have to figure those out. That's what we did today.

Test

Today in math we had a test. It was our second test, and I think I did better than the last one, but I guess I'll have to wait and see. Those silly mistakes can be cruel. I couldn't get the bonus question, but at least that won't take away from my overall mark. Once you finished the test you had time to work on accelerated math. I started to work on it, but my brain was pretty fried from the test. That's what happened in math today.

Day Before Test

So tomorrow we have our second math test. Therefore, today we went over everything that'll be on our test. On our test will be polynomials, factoring, distance between points, and midpoints. I'll for sure have to study. After we did that, we got some time to work on our math questions, which is always nice. That's what happened in math today.

Mid Point

Today we took notes and learned how to find the mid point. I think I understand how to do it, but there's no doubt that I need more practice.

Test Back

We finished 10 mental maths. My average was 60%...I'm not too happy with that. We also got our tests back from last week. I'm hoping to do better on our next test. I'll need to work on math a lot this week, and I have to start going to tutoring.

Work Period

I was very glad to find out that today was just for working, and figuring things out. I understand how to find the distance between points now! I'll for sure of homwork to do tonight, because I have a lot of catching up to do. So, hopefully I'll remember how to do everything. Also, on mental math today I got 4.5, so I was very happy about that. However, my average for all of my mental math was 60%..not so good.
